The Moorebank Logistics Park, set to become Australia’s largest logistics development, will ultimately see development of up to 850,000sqm of warehousing and two intermodal transport terminals. The Park will incorporate the latest automated freight handling technology, including automated gantry cranes and electric driverless straddle carriers. The Logistics Park infrastructure includes not only the essential services (power, water, communications) but also the heavy-duty pavements and estate roads suitable to carry the automated straddles.
